i want to put another prepaid sim card in my phone but its network lock and won't allow may new card how do i unlcok it.

You will have to get it professionally unlocked. It might cost you around $50. That's how much I got my phone unlocked for...

ask around to computer repair shop and maybe they can unlock it for you

You need a code. The codes for some phones if it is Cingular they have a policy if any employee does they will be fired. For other phones it is simply google it, and a few cannot be unlocked [some Nokia phones]
