is a Tomtom a good GPS?

I actually own one of those. :]
I love it. I don't have any problems with it....use the suction cup and I suggest placing it on the windshield right above the dash unless it obstructs her view. And also, tell her make sure it's always charged. It comes with a cord that you plug into the outlet like a phone charger, but she won't want it in her way all the time.

they are pretty good my parents have one and they are very technologically challenged and they seem to use it just fine so pretty much anyone can use them

YES! i have one and i love it,
weve been all over the world with us and wouldve gotten lost without it.
