Did i get my moneys worth on my truck?

I just bought a used 2008 dodge ram 1500 st with a 4.7L v8. It has about 9000 miles on it and its in good condition, no dents or scratches. i payed $12,000 for it.
 
A friend of mine bought a brand new Hemi powered Ram for just a little more than that. Large pick up trucks aren't selling very well and nothing that Dodge makes is selling. You could have probably made a better deal on a brand new Ram and gotten a better financing offer to boot.
