What do you think about a 2002 Hyundai Accent?

so i made the mistake with my first car by buying a ford escort, i dont want to make the same mistake twice! i would like to know how reliable these cars are... are they poorly made?..im looking at an automatic 2002 Hyundai Accent with 78,000 miles on it. they are askin about 4,800...


if you could give me some sites with reviews on these cars that would be great! thanx.

I had a 2000 Accent bought new, it was an awesome car. Hyundais are much more reliable than Fords, and I have had both. If you're looking at a car with that many miles, you need to ask for maintenance records, to see if the previous owner took good care of it. If they did everything that was recommended, it should be pretty good. I sold my accent to my brother when it had 102,000 miles on it and he still has it with over 160,000 miles.
