Bike riding at 4 weeks pregnant?

I went on an hour bike ride with my husband today. I'm 4 weeks pregnant, will this do anything bad to my child? I know, I really should've thought about it before hand. We all do stupid things. Anyhow, thank you in advance for your answers!

You should really stay away from biking horseback riding stuff like that. That shakes your uterus it can shake the egg loose from the uterine wall early in pregnancy

My dear you are absolutely fine. If this is a regular activity, even if it's not, it won't hurt your baby. If it is a regular thing, keep doing it, but be careful and I wouldn't do it after about 15 weeks as the risk of falling and injuring yourself or the baby increases. Exersizing is great for expectant mothers. However, we tire out easier and need more fluids so be carelful. Good luck hon

The reason you shouldn't ride a bike is because of the risk of falling. When you are further along your balance will be off which puts you at more risk. You didn't hurt your baby as long as you didn't fall, no worries.

Basic rule of thumb. Activities that you did before, on a regular basis, you were pregnant should be fine. Otherwise, do not do it.

I carried on cycling up until I was too big to do so. Cycling wont cause harm to your baby don't worry, as long as you are careful and don't fall of or anything you will be fine

Hope all goes well in the rest of your pregnancy
