wrist pain, please help...?

My right wrist has had problems for the last few years. I don't remember ever hurting it severely. It will hurt horribly for a few weeks, and then will be fine for a month! But then it will start hurting again. if I try to bend my wrist back it locks and won't go back any further (and it barely goes back at all) It hurts to put ANY pressure on it. It even hurts when I write. I am only 17 so could this be carpal tunnel? Only my fingers never go numb or anything... ??? Does anyone know what this might be?

Sounds like something you should see the doctor for.

If the pain is severe enough to interfere with your day to day activities, and it persists for more than 3 or so days, you definitely need to go get it checked out.
Carpal tunnel is usually only experienced in older age, so i doubt that is it
