Do magnetic holding phone cases affect my phone in anyway?

Bought a phone case for my Samsung A727. The small strap to hold the phone has magnet on it to keep the case closed. I don't know if it will harm my phone when I am taking it in and out.

It shouldn't cause a problem - changing strong magnetic fields can create eddy currents and damage a phone, but a little magnet clasp, not. The iPod mentioned in one answer has a harddisk that is more likely to be affected.
