The UK Government proposed banning the manufacture and sale of full-length curved swords, including Samurai (Japanese) swords.
But I was told the Government changed its mind, and has banned only JAPANESE swords - so that people can still buy curved swords such as English, Scottish and European weapons of this type. Does anyone know if I have been given correct information? I would guess that a British or Continental sword is just as lethal as a Japanese version.
