I switched from telus hi speed to shaw cable hi speed?

and now my pc picks up viruses and A pop-up comes up when I turn on my pc it say's something like system error or something, I tryed using spybot but it didn't work I'm using ZoneAlarm now but is there any way to fix it with out using A fire wall
