changing from nextel to sprint?

if i change from nextal to sprint can i buy i phone at new contract price if im still in a contract with nextel or can i buy a unlocked phone

You would be eligible for any rebates offered toward a new phone by switching to sprint. you would want to transfer your number from nextel to sprint to avoid any cancellation fees with nextel. you can buy a used phone for sprint as long as it is not marked lost/stolen or shows in use on another account. i think it would be best if you went ahead and got a new phone through sprint though because you will get rebates and discounts off it.
