...costs 56.99 and one that is...? there is a sale on pants. buy 1 get one 50% off. u choose a pair of pants that costs 56.99 and one that is 49.99. tax is 7.5% How much do u pay total?
(the discount will be take off the lesser priced item)

divide 49.99 by 2 then add your answer to 56.99 and multiply that answer by .075 that answer is the tax add that to the total of the pants and thats how much you should pay.

Well, you're half price pants will cost 24.995. Together with the full price pants thats 81.985 (call it 82)

And with 7.5% tax added on, it comes to 88.15 total.

Haven't u heard of a calculator, lol. It would be $88.13.
