I live in an area where there is wireless internet. I have a pda with WLAN but it doesn't seem to work. I turn WLAN on and view available networks, and the two wireless networks that are available in this area show up automatically. They have small icons net to them, which is 4 green bars, which I assume tell me that the connection is good. Also on the icon is a little picture of a lock, which I don't have any idea what it is. I click one, say "connect" and then it says "connecting..." But never goes farther than that. What is wrong? What should I do about it? Thanks a lot!!!
Other computers in this area get onto the wireless network and can use it without any security info. I don't think it's a security problem!
