For example in Pride you were able to kick an opponent on the ground and in the UFC you can not. Do you think that the rules should change? Any other ideas?
The ufc has no say so in this, that is all up to the state laws and what not, but i would like to see knee's to a downed opponent legal, there is more strategy and skill involved in knee's than soccer kicks.
No dude if you fall down your body goes into panic mode usually, so if the opponent were to kick you while you were down the fight could end alot quicker. and in ufc they want the fight to be close. Ground and pound is different seeing as both fighters are on the ground, and its the best of the 2 that comes out as the victor.
