What phone is better for a 14 year old kid? The iPhone or an unlocked sidekick?

I'm getting a new phone and i text alot so please help me out!!!!!
thanks!! but is it still better if i cant go on the internet or any pic messaging on the sidekick?
yea im using my own money
 
if you earn your own money get whatever you want. if your parents are paying get something cheap. someday you will learn the value of money and will feel bad for wasting their money
 
what the hell a 14 year old kid needs with a cell phone is beyond me, was of money really, but i suppose a iphone, i have an ipod touch myself and highly recommend it.
 
sidekick.....iphone is way too much $ per month for a 14-yr old. unlocked sidekicks are hard to use with networks other than at&t. but if you can get it working, definately go with the sidekick.

I would choose the sidekick because the iphone is too complicated and i've heard that it gets hacked a lot.
 
i like iPhone's more.
but I don't know.
Maybe a Sidekick
because you text alot, it might be easier.
 
if you text alot then the sidekick...i wish i had a sick phone when i was 14
