I'm 18 now but I started at age 14. They told me that they did not mind that I smoked as long as I did not smoke in the house. Their attitude is that they did not want me to hide things from them.
Neither of my parents ever smoked.
I did not think this was unusual until friends started saying things like "I cant believe your parents let you smoke."
