Has anyone read Stephen Kings' new book...

...'The Cell'? How does it rate compared to his other books? 'The Stand' is my all time favorite, but this one looks pretty good. Any thoughts on the story, if you've read it.

Either I am becoming more immune to Stephen King's writing or it is just not as gripping as it once was (Chirstine, Carrie, Stand, It...). I do agree with you that the Stand was his best work along with Christine and It.

From reading the 1st chapter and the descriptions of the book it seems almost like another take on the Stand (world destroyed survivors have to band together) though I will probably still read it.
