Why does my car's cassette deck click when i put in the tape that

connects my ipod to the car's stereo? Everytime I put a cassette in my cassette deck in my car to connect my ipod to my car stereo. it does a constant click, click, click, etc. it doesnt stop. the music still plays but it clicks....is there something i can do to stop it or is there somthing wrong with my cassette deck.
i already used a head cleaner.
 
Have you put the tape into another tape player to see if it does the same thing?

Could be a problem with the tape mechanism as the little wheels spin.

Doubt it has anything to do directly with the tape player and definitely not the head as that doesn't move.
 
the adapter is converting digital music to analog music. You could try getting a new tape adapter, or upgrading your deck to cd
