wireless internet help????

I just just bought a laptop and I bought a wireless internet adapter to go with it. The man at the store set it up but the way he set it up it only works over there by the store. I got home and tryed to get on the internet but I cant so I set the internet up for my house but It's still not working. I dont have a num to the pc store or tech help so what can I do to get my internet to work????
 
Well you have to have a wireless router at your house. If you, do then you have to manually switch from the stores Network to your house's network. Just click on network connections on the bottom right (it should be two computers with a red X) and select the one at your house.

P.S. I don't know why you bought a wireless internet adapter, almost all laptops come with it already installed inside the computer. Maybe he was just trying to jip you out of money..
