It happens every five minutes or so, and after it reconnects its perfectly fine until it repeats itself. I have AT&T U-Verse and I'm using their modem thing. I am also on a Lenovo thinkpad T61 laptop.

How come my wireless internet periodically disconnects than reconnects?
