Internet harassment. Help please.?

A certain someone has been harrassing our home for the better part of this year. For the past 2 months, she has created numerous e-mail addresses using our REAL LIFE names. I've turned this over to the police, but that was before she started doing this e-mail business and I have to wait for the police investigator to get back to me before I can even report this part.

Does anyone out there know how we can protect our privacy in the meantime? Help please.
