TRICKY TRICKY what was this video game called ? OLD OLD GAME. (SEGA GAME SYSTEM )?

okay. it was basically an all asian game. it started out with using the game system Sega. the main character was a guy who ALWAYS wore a dark brown jacket, and his signature black spikey hair. then a new version for either xbox or playstation was released, and it was him getting back at the guys who killed his dad. help me please :[
