My internet will not connect but it connects to the laptop?

I have a 2 wire wireless modem.
The modem is connected to the desktop and the wireless is setup on the laptop, The laptop's internet is working fine, But my desktop WILL NOT connect.
Any ideas as to why?

It probably has something to do with the modem. I've had this problem before. Your best bet is to call your internet service provider and they will guide you on how to get it connected.
