    Should be as simple as opening the back and popping the battery out. Consult your Owner's Manual.

    chucking it on the floor usually works for me

    you go to the back and there should be a place where it looks like it pops off. it does just slide it down carefully take it out. if you can't get it out with your fingers try a plastic knife. or something small and easy to get under stuff.
