Can you connect the power supply of a pair of PC speakers to a car battery?

If your answer is "yes", how am I suppose to do it?

I'm not 100% on this, but you can't because the car battery has a DC (direct current) while your speakers run on AC (alternating current) from the wall. Good luck, though.
