I am looking to purchase my first car and I have found a 2001 Ford Escape XLT for about $4800 with 101,000 miles on it. Is this a good price for the money? This would be my first car and want to make sure that I buy something that won't die out on me quick, but I will still be able to have for the next couple of years. Also is XLT the lowest trim level, middle of the road, or top? Any information that you might have on this please let me know! thanks.
Also what is the piece of equipment called that you can put on both the front bumper and the back bumper and it is typically chrome and the shape of it is like a U turned upside down...is it for "decoration" or is it actually a piece that is used...anybody know what I am talking about and can that be put on the escape?
