On vacation, I used sunscreen, but my mole has become slightly elevated?

Ok, on vacation to a water park, I spent a good while in the sun, but I used sunscreen (and re applied it later). However, 2 days later, I was pulling this hair out that has been growing on it, and noticed that the mole was slightly elevated. Is it possible that pulling the hair might have just caused it to become inflamed or elevated? There are no color changes, diameter changes, or border changes.
