I have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee 2wd, 4cyl, 5 speed manual. For the past few days when i turn the key all the dash lights come on (as normal) and go away, but then a few seconds later the battery light came on, and stayed on until i turned it off, but it ran and started just fine. Well today I was on my way to work and the radio shut off, like it was unplugged or something, not even the clock was showing. So as i turned around and headed home other things slowly began shuting off, the air conditioning was slowly dying and the blinkers were getting slower and slower, until finally at a turn the engine cut off and nothing would work, not even the hazard lights. I dont think it has to do with the battery, its fairly new (1yr. old almost). I think its something with the wiring connecting the battery cause theyre pretty short (they were stripped back for a good lead and barely reached the battery). Could something have happened to the cables?? Please Help!!! I need to get to school!!!!
