...recognized and Bluetooth takes over? This only happens when the laptop has been powered off and I turn it back on. It should default to the internal microphone and speakers which would be SoundMAX Audio. That is what I have chosen to be my default settings because I currently don't use Bluetooth. And when I first power on the laptop and I navigate to Control Panel then Sounds and Audio Devices, I see under the Audio tab that the Default recording and Default playback device is listed as Bluetooth...and under those pull-down menus, it doesn't even LIST SoundMAX as an available recording or playback option. Therefore, I get no sound from my computer.

But then when I RESTART and go through the boot up process again without powering down completely, Windows initializes correctly such that I hear sound and my Default recording and playback devices are listed correctly as SoundMAX and not Bluetooth, although in those previously mention pulldown menus, Bluetooth remains an option.

What might be causing this?
