well okay:
complains about the temperature
mood swings
arguing with me
arguing with my sister
arguing with my dad
insane attempts at making me loose weight even though i'm at the normal level
keeps calling me baby names
has a newfound obsession to lose weight
so obsessed she refuses to buy groceries
so obsessed she never makes dinner
decides to buy hideous shoes that a retarded 16-year-old would wear with bows and wedges
buys clohtes that are too young for her
buys bags that are too young for her
tries way too hard to be young.

i don't know if i'm being to hard on her or not, but i'm honestly convinced that she's going through menopause and a mid-life crisis.

my sister's in college, and my dad's always at work, leaving me alone with her.

what the hell should i do?

How old are you? First try to ignore it and it is your fathers duty to help her. Just keep telling her how great she is and can you help her?? and then talk with your dad...

oh my gosh! i know what you're going through!! My mom actually just finished menopause! It was a terrible time! I think she started when my sister headed off to college. She started telling everyone she was like 35 when really she was like 45, but she would go out to clubs and stuff all the time!! And she was obsessed with losing weight as well!! She also began to treat me like a baby! It was AWFUL! I wish you luck!

Your mom will always be all over you. Let her try to get out of her mid-life crisis. I'm pretty sure she is having that. Every once in a while, try talking to her. Maybe if she vents, she will be less irratible.

its her life, is she harming anyone? she's not into fuffy duddy clothes, but she should leave you alone about your weight and she should cook or cook for yourself..

Wow this sounds just like my mom. Whatever you do , don't criticize her. That just makes things waaaaay worse lol. Listen to her when she vents and relate to it to make her feel better. And also get out the house more, its the only way to escape her wrath!!!!!

Give her lots of Cal-trate. This is a calcium supplement, it will prevent bone loss and early decay. Other wise, go shopping with her. Show her how to be young again. I cannot wait until my mother is going through menopause.

Pick up a cook book and ask her for a heftier allowance so you can cook.
