is soulseek a safe program?

Ok, so i have limewire but its been hard to find some songs im lookin for mostly 80s metal so the things is tha i heard soulseek is a good program then i try uploading it then when it was about to finish a pop up came up of windows vista or something saying if i want the program to keep runni and the user was slkseek or something but the pulisher was unknown n i us to download stuff with unknown publisher programs and i use to get viruses so my question is
is soulseek safe ?
whats the correct url where i can download it???

I use it and its virus/spyware free.
You do need to be careful what you're downloading though. I bet there are virus's galore that are available to download.
Only download things that are of a size that you are expecting.
For example, most songs are between 2 and 5 MB. But if you download an .exe that is only a few hundred Kb then you might be in for an infection.
You should also run a virus scanner over everything you get from there before opening it.
just google 'soulseek' for a download location.
