Does religion calm your fear or thoughts of dying? Do you think of dying more the

older you get? Just curious on some opinions here. I never really thought about death, until recently.

Its a little unsettling to me at the moment. I've never experienced a death in my life. My great-grandmother is still alive at 96, with no health problems. Also, no one has even been sick in my family that required hospitalization or anything. It's like I'm childish in my feelings about death, because I've never experienced it you know?

I never even found out people did die until I was 11-12, mostly because a situation never happened in my family where I needed to understand it.

I don't know.. . I guess I'm asking if religion helps people come to peace with the idea of death. Or if anything else has helped anyone.
