Cingular Sync a707???

Okay ive had my phone(the a707 cingular sync) for about a year and a half and just today i found out how to change the aleart it makes when you recive a message well when i go to profiles then press edit and go to the msging symbol i go down to sg alert toneand press options then i press change and it gives me 2 options 1.use effect tone and 2. Use alert tone.
effect tone is just the ones my phone comes with but alert tones are my things i have recorded and stuff so i pressed alert and it just gave me the 10 ringtones that came with my phone how do i put something i recorded on tthere?
