Ok. I broke the screen on my brand new 40" Samsung 1080 televison. Can I sell it

somehow? I had every warranty availible but of course no screen impacts are covered. I know the tvs cost is nearly entirely the screen itself but it has to be worth something somewhere? right? how much and where to sell it?

additonally..is there some type of screen protection shield that can protect my new one? the lcd screens break so easily, its ridiculous.
