are comcast and charter the same cable company?? Cause i heard that they were but my charter cable sucks and i dont know where to get other digital cable networks in Michigan.

Charter sucks ass, Comcast is pretty darn fast. Charter is DSL, Comcast is Cable.
Oh, wait this is for TV. Well Charter is a mix of componies, like here its just "Charter" Some places have direct TV.
Look, does it say Comcast when it tursn on.
