do cricket phones have a sim card? can i put a t-mobile sim card in a cricket phone?

so my parents got that 2-yr contract with t-mobile and its expensive to break the contract. but my old phone broke so they mailed me a new one. in the time they were mailing it, i found my brother's old t-mobile phone and it's really cool so i started using it and ignored my new phone they mailed me (cuz i hate the razors!!). so yea. my purse got stolen and that new razor phone was in it so all i have is my brother's old yet cool one. but now it wont charge!! and this is the same sign that my old one started showing! first, it is hard to get it to charge! next, it wont charge at all!
should i just get a cricket phone? i can't afford to break the contract with t-mobile.

and also, can i put my t-mobile SIM card into my cricket phone?

Cricket does not have a sim card.
    You can't do that.
You can go on Ebay and get an Unlocked phone for a cheap price.
