How do I get copying text on the internet normal?

Whenever I want to copy something on the internet, highlighting the text is abnormal from what it was a week or two ago.* Instead of my text line highlighting the text a text box opens up and the text that I've highlighted can only be 'clipped*to my internets clip board, but not copies.* How do I get this back to normal?

dunno, try to delete the internet explorer or firefox or whatever and reinstall it.

make sure you have an internet program, once you deleted one, cause you wont be able to go back on the internet and get it.
