I can't figure this out, since Dublin used to be part of UK and therefore should technically have the same as us, but if they don't, what do they use? what type of adaptor do I need?

Dublin isn't part of the UK ! Dublin is in the Republic of Ireland. Ireland gained effective independence from the United Kingdom as the Irish Free State in 1922
