Are these to high for a sprinter running 55m and 100m dashes/Sprints?

Do not get those for sprinting! You have to get lightweight shoes so you can run on your toes. Go to a local running store and ask the people working there what are some good sprinting shoes.

If you are doing sprints on a track what you need is racing spikes. If you are just looking for something to train in then those would be fine. Look at some Saucony and Asics footwear. They are some of the best rated racing footwear companies.
