...uniform wheel 0.220 in radius and mass of? A cord is wrapped around the rim of a solid uniform wheel 0.220 m in radius and of mass 7.40 kg. A steady horizontal pull of 40.0 N to the right is exerted on the cord, pulling it off tangentially from the wheel. The wheel is mounted on frictionless bearings on a horizontal axle through its center.

A. Compute the angular acceleration of the wheel.

B. Compute the acceleration of the part of the cord that has already been pulled off the wheel.

C. Find the magnitude of the force that the axle exerts on the wheel.

D. Find the direction of the force that the axle exerts on the wheel

Last problem i need to do and i just cant get it

thanks for any help

I=m*r^2/2
A.
Στ=I*α

40*r=7.4*r^2*α/2
α=80/(7.4*0.220)
49.14 rad/s^2

B. 49.14*0.220
10.81 m/s^2

C. sqrt(40^2+7.4^*9.81^2)
83 N

D) atan(7.4*9.81/80) below horizontal
42.22 degrees below horizontal
