Windows Crypto Folder?

Hey All,

I need to find out what files are stored in the Windows Crypto Folder and what exactly puts files in here? Does anybody have any solid understanding of this and no guessing or linking me to other random websites which do not provide a full explanation of this?

It would be much appreciated!
File path is %appdata%\microsoft\crypto
