2014 winners of the ANZ EMC Business Partner Program Awards announced

Last night (March 11), EMC announced the winners of the 2014 EMC Business Partner Program Awards at an event at The Establishment in Sydney. The awards recognise the achievements of the highest performing EMC partners from the last financial year and provide partners and customers with an opportunity to learn about developments in the industry and business and technology trends for 2015.
The ANZ winners of the 2014 Business Partner Program Awards are:

  • Solution Provider Award: EMC Distributor of the Year: Ingram Micro
  • Solution Provider Award: EMC Outstanding Achievement Award - Signature Partner Australia: Infront*
  • Solution Provider Award: EMC Outstanding Achievement Award - Premier Partner Australia: Technology Effect
  • Solution Provider Award: EMC Outstanding Achievement Award - Premier Partner New Zealand: Datacom New Zealand
  • Solution Provider Award:*Specialist Partner of the Year – Core Technologies: Datacom New Zealand
  • Solution Provider Award:*Specialist Partner of the Year – Data Protection Solutions: Infront
  • Solution Provider Award:*Specialist Partner of the Year – Emerging Technologies: Infront
  • Alliance Awards: EMC Outstanding Achievement Award: Wipro
  • Alliance Awards: EMC Exceptional Growth Award: CSC
  • Service Provider Award:*EMC Outstanding Achievement Award: Telstra
  • Service Provider Award:*EMC Exceptional Growth Award: Datacom
  • EMC Overall Excellence in Hybrid Cloud: Ethan Group
  • VCE Asia-Pacific Partner of the Year: Telstra
Highlights of the evening included triple award wins for both Datacom and Infront, while Telstra was awarded the EMC Service Provider Outstanding Achievement Award. CSC was acknowledged for its exceptional growth and Ethan Group was recognised for showing overall excellence in Hybrid Cloud technology. Christopher Trevitt, General Manager, Partner Sales EMC ANZ, and Mark Fioretto, General Manager Telecommunications and Service Providers EMC ANZ, were on hand to give out the awards. *
For the first time, EMC held its partner sales conference ahead of the EMC Business Partner Program Awards dinner. During the events, David Webster, President EMC APJ, Joergen Jakobsen, Vice President and General Manager Channel EMC APJ, and Alister Dias, Vice President and Managing Director EMC ANZ, provided almost 200 channel partner representatives with updates on EMC strategy and the achievements of 2014.
