You always hear about Barry and Roger from the talking heads on MLB network, that say that these guys were already Hall of Famers, before they started taking them around the late 90's....My question is, how do we really know that they weren't taking them before that? Just because they said they weren't? Roids have been around since the 60's at least.....Lyle Alzado....Jose Canseco in the 80's, 90's, etc. Why do so many people assume that the steroid era only began in the late 90's? It DIDN'T....
