...question here on R&S.? there must be a reason why the Greeks used the word 'hupokrisis' meaning , our word Hypocrites, to describe an Actor.
I like our present day definition : one who affects virtues or qualities he does not have.
was their sham a hollywood blunder ,or a duck dynasty journey to mass riches,,,Oh , & a golden goose for hollywood also.
 
I would have pointed out the ignorance and bigotry of the question.

By the way, Phil the "Duck Dynasty" guy isn't an actor.
 
Just because when he got drunk he had homosexual experiences and raped animals doesn't mean that homosexuality "morphs" to bestiality. Being an ignorant hillbilly on the other hand...

Furthermore, Christianity was wide-spread in Nazi Germany. Muslims have Jesus, just not the same versions Christians have. Christianity was not banned during Imperial Japan, and it is not banned today. In Japan, where Shinto and irreligion are widespread, has a much lower crime rate than the US, including rural Louisana.

We *do* know that some of what he said came from the Bible. That doesn't make it not hateful. The Bible is full of contradictory claims, and much of it is hateful. Some Christians choose to cherrypick to follow the nicer stuff. Some Christians cherry pick out the hateful stuff. Just because some Iron Age bigot wrote it first doesn't make it not bigotted. And good luck finding a passage where Jesus says that blacks were happy under Jim Crow, and that social welfare programs made them start "singing the blues". Maybe it's in there around where Jesus says that how you treat the least of his brothers is how you treat him, or where he says to sell all your possessions and give all your money to the poor.
 
GREAT question , yes pure twisting of truth , to make all of GOD's words a LIE,,,,A pure anti-christ like froward LIE.
The group known as WAR wrote a song about his kind called MONEY ,give it a play on youtube.
 
He did twist the words of our Lord JESUS , & boldly lied about knowing anything about TRUTH in scripture .
But there are those who believe that The actor was preaching Truth, I feel sad for them all.
 
Miss -characterizing an individual because you simply disagree with their point if view is cowardly.

Which is in fact what you're doing by calling his statement a " rant "
