Question about a Blue Ray player for a computer?

Question for my Blu Ray friends: I have the burner. I have the computer that will run the burner. My first attempt got me a disc that is like a flash drive in that you have a list of files, titles, that you click on to play as you would on a computer. There is no menu and no pay button to just play the whole disc. Is that how they are? Do you select one movie at a time with your Blue Ray player, or do you have a menu and a play button that will play one or all of the movies on the disc. I can't find anything in the program about setting up a menu and I don;'t have a conventional player yet, just the burner which will also play through a computer. -- with
