TV is connected to 5.1 Surround Sound Receiver via optical cable. No problems at all.
Purchased a Sony Blue Ray player and connected it to the TV via HDMI cable.
Now the surround sounds cuts in and out.
Thought the HDMI cable was too weak, so I bought Platinium HDMI Monster Cables...no change.
Turn off the BlueRay and watch regular TV, sound system work perfect.
Returned the BlueRay and changed it out with a new BlueRay.....no change....sounds cuts in and out.
Any ideas on to correct the sound issue?
