Edit: Is there a way to know if you're on someone's ignore/buddy list? Not that I'm paranoid or anything.... Really. I'm not defensive. It's you... you're defensive. Not me.
I know this is a part of the ignore/buddy lists on other sites, and I was wondering if it's available here, too.
There is something on another site I use that PMs the person if you are adding them to your buddy list so they can add you to theirs. As far as I know, there is no way of knowing if you are on somebody's ignore list or if they are just ignoring you themselves.
I'd never put anyone on ignore personally. It seems too much like denial to me! Anyone who gets emotional over what people say on the internet needs to get things in perspective. However if you disagree... just put me on ignore!
Why have so many members that posted on this thread been banned, including an award winner? I've never seen a thread, where more than half the posters have been banned. Maybe I should have stayed away from this one. YIKES!
'Valued members' is a general title that appears based on you post count. It is not an acknowledgement of exceptional contribution to MAP. People are only banned from MAP after numerous warnings and ToS breaches including, but not limited to, trolling, insults, swearing and general disruption of the forum. Banning folks is not a decision that is taken lightly and requires the agreement of a number of mods and a track record of ToS breaches from the person being banned.
Only for the entertainment factor provided by his extreme beliefs in conspiracy theories. Obviously he was totally wrong as it's the little grey aliens, not the government black ops, that are responsible for everything that goes wrong!
Global warming, the economy, the asteroid that's going to wipe out the earth in time, the fact that the sun will die etc, etc. I think we're being unfairly discriminated against.
Anyway, real ninjas know that the ninjas getting blamed for the trouble are, in fact, aliens disguised as ninjas, aiming to give us a bad name!
