Why do web pages still tell me to download Divx web player when I had

It's not real if it does not come from the official divx website >> http://www.divx.com . Don't let these ads fool you into thinking that this is real stuff. You may have already downloaded a virus to your system if you let one of the ads fool you into downloading something you shouldn't have.
