Beginner Bike that looks Like Suzuki GSXR 750?

I've ridden a 1100cc cruiser for about a year. I saw a bike the other day and it turns out it's a Suzuki GSXR 750. I loved the look, but have read soooo many articles about how new riders shouldn't get a powerful bike. OK. I won't. But are there any bikes that look similar to the gsxr 750 that would be good for beginners? I'm not worried about about less horsepower or speed, or telling people what bike I ride, but I would like to own something I like to look at. Thanks!
