Why did my neighbours cat bring her kittens into my house and not theirs?

I woke up this morning to find my neighbours cat in my bedroom with her kittens that she had around 4 days ago, my neighbour said they didn't even know that she was having kittens (which I don't know weather to believe or not) so I presume they were born outside and as it has got a little bit cooler she need to bring them indoors and brought them to my house and not her home. Why?
