My 1995 dodge ram 1500 (5.9l 360) is backfiring and losing power when I gas it, it only
Does that when it's in gear it sputters. I have replaces plugs and plug wires less than a month ago and this just started happening recently.

Usually backfires are caused by the engine misfiring or firing at a point when there is too little or too much fuel to burn in the cylinder. So, usually a timing problem. I think it can also be caused by a bad catalytic converter, and considering that the problem seems to be exacerbated by increased air/fuel (and also exhaust) flow, maybe start there?
If it's timing, your timing chain could need adjusting, or you could need new distributor cap (or coil pack, not sure which you have).
Sorry I don't know much of anything about your vehicle, but no one else seems to be awake, so there's my educated best guess.
Good luck!
